I pretend,

to be nonchalant about it all.

Yet,

for when a frown sets upon my face,

I guess it comes from thinking of you.

The indifference painstakingly built up,

would always crumble with the faintest smile.

It's hard in a way,

and yet there's no other way.

These 3 words.

They choke.
